Quotes

Chilly: Oh, poor Gloria. I can't watch.
Doc: It's not real quicksand, Chilly.
Chilly: Yeah. I know. But still-save her Commander Crush! Save her!

Commander Crush: A "tickle"? Is that some kind of furry space creature? If it is, I'm prepared to defeat it!
Lambie: (Giggles) No, Commander Crush. A tickle is something that makes you laugh.

Commander Crush: Commence tickling.
Gloria: (giggling) Oh, tickle, tickle, tickle. Tickle, Tickle Tickle.
Commander Crush: (laughing) Oh can't stop. Can't stop laughing.

Commander Crush: Help...can't stop transforming. Something's wrong.
Hallie: You can say that again.
Stuffy: Something's wrong. (Hallie looks at him) I was just following orders.

Doc: Commander, why don't you like the tickle game?
Commander Crush: Because I don't like being tickled. It doesn't feel good to me.
Doc: Well, then why didn't you tell Gloria to stop?
Commander Crush: I did. I said no. But you didn't listen.
Gloria: I didn't think you meant it. You were laughing when you said no. Like this, "No".
Commander Crush: That's true. But tickling is a strange thing. I was laughing even though I wanted you to stop.
Gloria: I'm sorry. I guess I should have listened.
Doc: Sometimes you can be having so much fun, you don't pay attention to how other people are feeling. There have been times when I've tickled Donny and I didn't know to stop until he got upset, too.
Gloria: So it's not just me?
Doc: It can happen to anyone.
Lambie: Oh, that's true.
Stuffy: Don't I know it.
Doc: But when someone says stop, it's time to stop.

Trivia

  • Diagnosis: Stuck-transformation-switch-osis
  • Donny is revealed to play the oboe.
  • It's possible that it's not a deliberate reference but Commander Crush's line "I have and always shall be your spacetastically devoted friend" is very similar to Spock's line to Kirk in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: "I have been... and always shall be... your friend."
